On ChillX.com we got this email asking us if its a sign that the person you are dating may not be the one for you if they are not romantic with you. Its a tricky question and we did not have all the answers so we asked our members their opinion here is some feedback for you to make an educative decision:

Girl: Some guys are not the types to display their affection like how we girls would. That does not necessarily mean that the guy you are dating is not meant for you. he may have other attributes like being a family person, being responsible and protective. So what if he does not hold your hand and kiss you and tell you every min he loves you. The fact that he cares for you is what matters.

Guy: My girl is very bold and brave. She is an independent person and will do everything in her power to make sure that i am looked after. Be it in front of friends or in front of strangers. She is a bit tom boyish but hey i would never ever asked for anything more. She may not dress sexy like other girls do. She may not hug me as often as i would like her to. She may not be as romantic as i am to her. What i appreciate in her is the fact that when we are both together she is herself with me. She is a friend. My problems are her problems and we share a deep bond that i have never experienced with my ex girlfriends who were very romantic and sexy. She is a giver rather than a taker. That’s what matter the most to me rather than finding someone who is very romantic.

A couple: We have been in love for a few year now and plan marrying each other by end of this year. Romance is something everyone wants but over time we need to move beyond the commercial romance of gifting each other with flowers, chocolate, cards etc. Its not necessary to cuddle each other to show your love. The thought and actions of each person in a relationship is more important than physical aspects attached to love
