Unless your job requires you to wear a uniform, choosing clothing for work can be difficult. In today’s world some companies don’t mind you coming to work in a casual attire and some prefer the formal professional approach. Its always important to fit in with the team and be your best. Here are some pointers for dressing in any type of situation:

1. Pay attention to your hair. You need to keep this neat. if your hair is usually messy then have it short.
2. Make sure you can see your face when you look at your shoes.
3. If you are a girl make sure you keep those luscious lips and the glamor to a minimal as overdoing makeup can be considered inappropriate in a professional environment.
4. Always make sure no matter what that you avoid biting your nails and having those nails trimmed. if you are a girl and love long bails then keep them well polished and manageable also choose the shades appropriately.
5. Make sure you wear an ironed shirt and ironed pants. If you are not good with color combination then choose a dark pair of trousers and light shirts then go off well.
6. Girls make sure you keep to a dress style that does not over expose you too much as this could be taken in a wrong manner specially in an environment that has a lot of guys around.
7. Jewelry such as long chandelier earrings, stacks of bangles, payals that make a sound could be distracting. Opt for stud earrings or single bracelets.
8. Make sure girls if you wear blouses then this shouldn’t gap between buttonholes.
9. If you are attending a meeting with a client make sure to be professionally dressed and avoid the casual jeans just to be on the safer side.
